Starting today (Oct. 4), WVU’s Office of Global Affairs has been designated as a passport acceptance facility. The service, open to the WVU community and the public, allows for passport applications to be accepted on-site in Purinton House (1505 University Ave.).

The College of Media has been a leader in online education since developing the nation’s first online Integrated Marketing Communications master’s degree program in 2003. The latest innovation — niche-specific IMC cohorts — brings together students from a particular industry who progress through the IMC master’s degree program together. The Defense Information School cohort started in fall 2021, Healthcare Communications begins in spring 2022 and Higher Education Marketing begins in fall 2022.

Beginning Thursday, Oct. 7, photography at the HSC Studio will be postponed due to high rates of COVID-19. Portraits may still be scheduled at One Waterfront Place after Oct. 7. Individuals who have a portrait scheduled at the HSC Studio will be contacted with more information.
A new Early Assurance program offered by WVU’s School of Medicine allows freshmen who complete a bachelor’s of science degree from WVU’s Exercise Physiology program to be considered for admission to the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Summer 2026 cohort.
