As part of the WVU School of Nursing’s Judy C. Kandzari Memorial Lectureship, Lisa Kirk Wiese will present “Creating a Culture of Caring for Older Adults in Rural Settings” Thursday (April 28) at 6 p.m. in the WVU Health Sciences’ Okey Patteson Auditorium.

WVU’s trauma team, led by Dr. Alison Wilson, is utilizing a distribution pipeline developed through collaborative efforts with the World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Associations in the United States to provide clothing, personal hygiene products and supplies to Ukrainians in need. Donations will be collected on the WVU Health Sciences Campus through May 6.
Five West Virginia University School of Nursing students from the Morgantown and Keyser campuses recently attended the 70th Anniversary Convention of the National Student Nurses Association. Hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah, the convention was held April 6-10 with a theme of “Here’s to the Heroes.”
