Pat White  

Head coach Rich Rodriguez has hired former Mountaineer football standout Pat White as assistant quarterbacks coach/assistant to the head coach. White, who was the nation’s most versatile threat at quarterback as a college player, previously worked as an offensive assistant coach with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Baseball Game  

The upcoming WVU baseball season will feature 25 home games and at least 26 road games broadcast on the ESPN family of networks. An additional two road games will air on BTN/Big Ten Network Plus.

Javon Small  

Selected by a panel of national college basketball experts, the list includes senior guard Javon Small with the men’s basketball team and 19 other student-athletes who are frontrunners for two of the most prestigious honors in college basketball.

Rifle Team  

After taking down No. 3 Kentucky over the weekend to claim the program’s 16th Great America Rifle Conference regular season title, the rifle team has been named the University’s Student-Athletes of the Week.

Spring Soccer Cup  

The schedule includes matches for the Spring Soccer Cup which involves 10 of college soccer’s premier programs. Competition begins March 9 on the road at Maryland, followed by a road contest at Pitt on March 14. Two home matches are scheduled against Wake Forest on March 29 and Georgetown on April 5.

Rifle  

The No. 1-ranked rifle team defeated No. 3 Kentucky Saturday (Feb. 8) at the UK Rifle Range in Lexington, Kentucky, to secure its second consecutive Great America Rifle Conference title. WVU finished the conference slate with a perfect 5-0 record.
