Collegiate Recovery  

Maple House will become the heart of the Collegiate Recovery Program in March. The safe space offers students a place to relax, study and hang out with others in any type of recovery.

Kaitlin Beegle, Jada Kent, Abby Childers and Charlotte Ralph recently gained real-world event operations experience while working alongside the Tepper Sports and Entertainment guest experience team at Bank of America Stadium as Virginia Tech took on Minnesota.

Joseph Watkins  

Working in a lab and pursuing a career in the field of pathology has been a goal since high school for Joseph Watkins, a senior biomedical laboratory diagnostics major and recipient of the Mildred C. Swanson Scholarship in Histotechnology.

NANOGrav Award  

The North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves Physics Frontiers Center and Maura McLaughlin have been awarded the prestigious Bruno Rossi Prize from the American Astronomical Society.

Women's Basketball Game  

The noon game against Oklahoma State Saturday (Feb. 1) at the Coliseum begins a nine-game stretch for the Mountaineers that includes games against No. 24 Baylor on Feb. 11 in Waco, Texas, No. 7 Kansas State on Feb. 17 at the Coliseum, No. 10 TCU on Feb. 23 in Fort Worth, Texas, and No. 26 Utah on Feb. 26 at the Coliseum.
