The WVU Valorant team swept through its regional competition, earning a chance to be showcased at the prestigious Red Bull Home Ground tournament from Nov. 13-16 at the historic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

For the first time, the event will feature a Dorm Ground showmatch between WVU and Fisher College as a showdown between the East Coast’s top collegiate Valorant rosters.

Home Ground has existed since 2021, and brings together some of the world’s strongest professional Valorant teams for a key offseason event to showcase the best that the Valorant Champions Tour has to offer. It also gives a look into the future of competitive Valorant for fans to see established stars and rising talent alike.

WVU has a long history of success at Red Bull events like Dorm Ground. The Mountaineers previously have won back-to-back Mid-Atlantic regional championships at Red Bull Campus Clutch before competing for national championships in Dallas and Chicago.

WVU Valorant is currently competing in both the Division One and NACE Varsity Premier national playoffs.
