The innovative program is open to physicians who have successfully completed their training in internal medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine/pediatrics.

The School of Medicine officially welcomed the newest medical students to campus this week during orientation activities. Students will complete their first two years of medical school on the Morgantown Campus. They then disperse to the Morgantown, Charleston or Eastern campuses to finish their remaining two years of studies and clinical rotations.
Tera Dillow, a registered nurse and faith community nurse, recently started a health screening program within her local faith community — Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton — following her completion of the Foundations of Faith Community Nursing course through the School of Nursing.
Drs. Eyad Khabbaz and Garrett Jones have joined the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery as assistant professors and general otolaryngologists. Khabbaz will see patients at the Fairmont and Morgantown locations. Jones will see patients at the WVU Uniontown ENT Office.
School of Dentistry dental hygiene professor Alcinda Shockey has been inducted into Sigma Xi. The Scientific Research Honor Society is an international organization that recognizes outstanding science and engineering research.
