The men’s basketball team used 17 points and 13 rebounds from sophomore forward Amani Hansberry to defeat Cincinnati, 62-59, Wednesday (Feb. 19) at the Coliseum.

Kevin Johnston, a University alumnus and Pine Grove native, will oversee the Club's membership and engagement between the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and its former student-athletes. He will direct, plan and implement all activities while working with all 18 varsity sports.
Identical 15-10 teams will be facing off tonight (Feb. 19) when the men’s basketball team hosts Cincinnati at the Coliseum. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
The baseball team’s home opener against Ohio has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26. First pitch will remain at 2 p.m. Fans with tickets to Tuesday’s (Feb. 25) originally scheduled game can still use them on Wednesday or, if the change impacts their ability to attend, they can exchange them for a ticket to a future game.
The No. 17-ranked women’s basketball team collected a signature win over No. 12 Kansas State, 70-57, Monday (Feb. 17) at the Coliseum. It is the Mountaineers’ second win this season over an AP-ranked opponent.
Freshman Joy Naukot received the recognition after becoming the fastest Mountaineer in program history to compete in the women’s 5,000 meters. She set the record at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational Feb. 15.
