After notching a pair of program top-five times at the Bryan Clay Invitational, graduate student Sarah Tait with the track and field team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week.

Camryn Camp and Griffin Lake with the rifle team each collected a first-place finish in smallbore at the 2025 USA Shooting Junior Olympics, with Camp claiming the women’s title while Lake took the men’s title.
The No. 24 baseball team finished a sweep of Cincinnati with a 10-5 victory Saturday (April 19) at Kendrick Family Ballpark. The Mountaineers have now won a season-high 14 straight games.
The rowing team will host its annual intrasquad Gold and Blue Regatta at 11 a.m. tomorrow (April 18) on the Monongahela River. Boats will start near the Westover Bridge and finish in front of the WVU Boathouse.
The fall schedule for the Mountaineers features six home matches at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, with WVU hosting two opponents — Arizona State and Houston — for the first time.
The baseball team will host Cincinnati for a three-game series at Kendrick Family Ballpark. First pitch is 6:30 p.m. today (April 17) and Friday (April 18) and 2 p.m. Saturday (April 19).
