Nearly 4,500 May 2022 graduates will receive their diplomas during 16 in-person commencement ceremonies Friday through Sunday (May 13-15). Each ceremony will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person; the webcast link will go live a few minutes prior to ceremony time.
West Virginia University will transfer its COVID-19 dashboards from the current Return to Campus website, as well as other pandemic information and related resources, to a new website, wvu.edu/covid, beginning Monday, May 16. The last dashboard update for the Morgantown campus will be Friday, May 13, ahead of Spring Commencement. Similarly, final updates to the WVU Potomac State College and WVU Institute of Technology dashboards posted May 6, before Commencement ceremonies on the Keyser and Beckley campuses.
Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2023 ends Sunday (May 15). Open Enrollment is the only opportunity WVU benefits-eligible faculty and staff have to make changes to their elected insurance benefits for the 2023 plan year without a qualifying life event. All changes for Plan Year 2023 will be effective July 1, 2022.
Pam Pritt has been chosen to serve in a new leadership role within University Relations and Enrollment Management as executive editor of WVU Magazine communications starting Monday, May 16.
The Art Museum of WVU has selected participants for its inaugural Art Museum Faculty Fellowship and Jacknowitz Summer Internship for Summer 2022. Both of these positions are central to the Art Museum of WVU’s efforts in engaging both students and faculty in object-centered learning and professional development.
