The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia will convene at the WVU College of Law Tuesday, April 5, to hear arguments in five cases. Seating begins at 9 a.m. in the Marlyn E. Lugar Courtroom, with the first case starting at 10 a.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

On March 25, the John Chambers College of Business and Economics inducted a new class of exceptional alumni who are leaders in financial information, law, technology and higher education as part of the 11th class of the Roll of Distinguished Alumni.
The Department of English will host a reading by poet Mary Ann Samyn April 7, at 7:30 p.m., followed by a book signing, in the Robinson Reading Room of the WVU Downtown Library.
The second annual WVU Friendship Cup slated for April 22 from 6-9 p.m. at the Student Recreation Fields will celebrate the international student presence on campus. The soccer competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students; registration is limited to eight teams.
