By providing experiential learning in the David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety, WVU Health Sciences students are safer and smarter before encountering patients in everyday and critical care situations.
The School of Nursing will host a spring 2023 open house for the BS/BA to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at 6 p.m. today (March 21) on Zoom. The accelerated program is open to college graduates who wish to become registered nurses with bachelor’s degrees in nursing.
The campus community is invited to attend an educational event exploring the impact of social determinants of health and unique experiences from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday (March 22). The event is hosted by the WVU Health Sciences Office of Interprofessional Education.
For many patients facing a multiple sclerosis diagnosis, the fear is of the unknown. For Dr. Eric Seachrist, neurologist at the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, the fear came from knowing too much.
