After 70 years of combined service as librarians, Hilary Fredette, Martha Yancey and Virginia Desouky will retire on Dec. 31.

Jill Hess, a Fairmont native who earned her master’s degree in counseling from WVU and worked in the Office of Student Accommodations — formerly known as the Office of Accessibility Services — for 20 years, passed away at the age of 48 on Dec. 9.
To provide charging convenience to electric vehicle users on campus, the WVU Office of Sustainability and Parking Management team will install EV charging stations in the Mountainlair and Mountaineer Station parking garages. A small number of parking spaces in these garages may be blocked off while the charging stations and signage are installed.
