Keli Zinn  

Keli Zinn will be stepping down from her duties as WVU's chief operating officer to take a similar role at LSU. During her 12-year tenure at WVU, which also included an interim stint as the school's first female director of athletics when West Virginia was transitioning to current AD Shane Lyons, she has accomplished a lot, most notably the recently completed $55 million Milan Puskar Center renovation project.

The 2022-23 regular season features six contests at home, six on the road and one neutral-site matchup. All home matches will be held at the WVU Rifle Range or the Bill McKenzie Rifle Range inside the WVU Shell Building.

West Virginia University’s baseball team is being recognized with the 2021-22 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, an announcement from the American Baseball Coaches Association.

Organic Farm Day  

WVU will celebrate pioneering work in organic farming during its Organic Field Day from 3-7 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 27) at the Organic Research, Education and Outreach Center. Organic Field Day helps illustrate the latest research in organic production methods through workshops, tours of research plots and hands-on activities.

The a cappella sensation Straight No Chaser will perform at the Morgantown Metropolitan Theatre Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Two new faculty members will join the College of Applied Human Sciences for fall 2022. Joni Williamson, sport management teaching assistant professor, and Rachel Wattick, health and well-being teaching assistant professor, bring experience in athletics administration and food science, respectively.
