Three WVU alumni with successful careers in business and law were elected to the WVU Foundation Board of Directors at its annual meeting. Serving three-year terms are George Bicher of Greenwich, Connecticut, Brad Ritchie of Charleston and Judge Roderick Young of Richmond, Virginia.

WVU Research Computing will host a three-day workshop on deep learning August 8-10. Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend either online or in person. The workshop is not oriented toward specialists in computer science or leading-edge researchers in the area.
