The celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow (Oct. 18) outside the Mountainlair as WVU gets ready to take on Kansas State in the Homecoming game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 19) at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The one-mile walk/run will start at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K run at 10 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 20) at the Student Rec Center. Costumes are encouraged for both race participants and spectators. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join their humans.
The WVU community is invited to celebrate the achievements of faculty colleagues and the WVU Press from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 22) in the Downtown Library, Milano Reading Room. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and remarks will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Faculty who are working with student Veterans and looking for ways to enhance their academic experience while helping them build strong community connections are encouraged to attend this panel discussion at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 on Zoom.
The annual Homecoming Parade, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Friday (Oct. 18) on High Street, will feature world-renowned astrophysicists Duncan Lorimer and Maura McLaughlin from the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences as the grand marshals, along with the other recipients of the 2024 Homecoming and Alumni Service Awards.
