WV Public Theatre  

With an emphasis on diversity, inclusivity and exceptional entertainment, West Virginia Public Theatre, a partner of the College of Creative Arts, will offer three plays and two staged readings for its 2023 season. The selections include drama, suspense and magic in shows that will appeal to audiences of all ages.

EcoCar team members  

At the end of the first year of the EcoCAR EV Challenge, WVU finished second overall in the four-year competition held from May 21–26 in Orlando, Florida. The team accumulated 10 competition awards, receiving more than $18,000 in prize money.

Paul Farrell Jr  

Prominent trial attorney and WVU College of Law alumnus Paul Thomas Farrell Jr. is the recipient of the 2023 College of Law Justitia Officium Award, the highest honor bestowed by the law faculty in recognition of outstanding contributions and service to the legal profession.

Braelyn Young  

Braelyn Young, a senior in the elementary education program who spent the last academic year as a student teacher at Big Elm Elementary School, posted video updates on projects she worked on with her students and the lessons she learned along the way.

CAHS Faculty Awards  

The College of Applied Human Sciences recently recognized Rawn Boulden, Patrick Hairston, Erin Jordan and Erin McHenry-Sorber for their outstanding work during the 2022-23 academic year.

Nakia Ridgeway  

WVU Law Class of 2023 graduates will spend the summer preparing for the bar exam and then dive into new careers ranging from clerkships with federal and state judges to positions in law firms and government agencies.
