The Davis College Store will host its annual Red, White and Beef sale just in time for Fourth of July festivities. Shoppers can purchase three 1-pound packages of ground beef for $15 or $6 per pound.

C.B. Wilson, former WVU associate provost for academic personnel, will conduct the Morgantown Municipal Band as it performs its annual Independence Day concert at 11 a.m. Tuesday (July 4) outside the Canady Creative Arts Center.
A familiar face at many high-profile campus events will retire from the University on Friday (June 30) after more than 20 years of service. Lisa Martin, special events coordinator senior in the WVU President’s Office, began her time at WVU in what is now the John Chambers College of Business and Economics.

The College of Applied Human Sciences received $390,000 in the first year of a five-year cooperative agreement for its WV Healthy Schools in Action project aimed to develop targeted approaches that enhance healthy behaviors and self-management of chronic health conditions among underserved students statewide.
