The Mountaineers will face the 16th-seeded Colorado Buffaloes at 3 p.m. today (March 12) at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City as part of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship. The game will be televised on ESPN+.

Senior Jett Strickenberger, fifth-year student Peyton Hall, redshirt sophomores Brody Conley and Ian Bush, and redshirt senior Dennis Robin represent WVU in the rankings.
Admission is free; however, fans are required to claim a mobile ticket for the 1 p.m. showcase set for April 5. An Almost Heaven Village Kickoff Concert will begin at 11 a.m., and all fans in attendance will be welcomed onto Mountaineer Field for photos and other activities following the showcase. Gates open at noon.
Senior guard Javon Small with the men’s basketball team is a member of the All-Big 12 First Team while sophomore guard Sencire Harris is part of the All-Defensive Team. The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship begins today (March 11).
The Mountaineers are set to compete in five spring matches, including four home dates at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium that start with a match against Ohio State on Sunday, March 30.
Fifth-year student Peyton Hall with the wrestling team received the honor after winning gold in the 165-pound weight class at the 2025 Big 12 Wrestling Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
