Gov. Jim Justice issued a proclamation Thursday (Dec. 21) declaring a state holiday on Friday, Dec. 29. The proclamation will be available on the Governor’s website Tuesday, Dec. 26. The University has modified its holiday calendar and will observe this state holiday on Friday, Dec. 29.

Starting Jan. 2, MOUNTAINEER E-News will feature a new section called “In The News,” a listing of media links curated by the University Relations/Communications staff featuring WVU experts, thought leaders, students and other members of the University community along with WVU research, discoveries and other items of note.

Aquatic Therapy  

If your daily activities or hobbies are affected by pain, loss of mobility, strength, or weight bearing issues or limitations, aquatic therapy sessions at the Student Rec Center pool may help. This clinic offers free one-on-one aquatic therapy sessions to adults and children who have a variety of conditions that may benefit from working in the water.
