WVU and the College of Applied Human Sciences will partner with Brigham Young University to host a book drive at a service tailgate prior to the football game between the Mountaineers and Cougars on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The annual Peace Tree Ceremony will be held in recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, at the WVU Peace Tree, located between Martin and E. Moore halls. A forum with Native leaders will follow on Oct. 9 and 10 to highlight Native Nations’ ancestral, cultural and historical connections to the land now known as West Virginia.
The Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Graduate Seminar will host “Understanding Prior Blackouts Can Help Enhance Grid Resilience” by Jeffery Dagle at 5 p.m. Monday (Oct. 2) on Zoom.
The play, directed by Radhica Ganapathy, associate professor of theater history and criticism, weaves a complex narrative around themes of depression, addiction, suicide and the generational impact of trauma.
Danielle Krysa, the writer behind the contemporary art site “The Jealous Curator” who has curated art shows all over North America, will present at 5 p.m. tomorrow (Sept. 26) in the Canady Creative Arts Center Bloch Learning and Performance Hall.
The Film Club will host a screening of the documentary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmaking team.
