In an effort to update PRT equipment, card swipe machines at all stations have been replaced with newer devices that require an ID card tap for access. Passengers can now simply tap their cards before selecting their destination and entering through the turnstiles. Employees or students who are still using an ID card issued before June 19, 2017, must obtain a new ID card to use the PRT.
