Camp Jump Start  

WVU Extension’s West Virginia 4-H youth development program invites young people from across the state to attend this pilot camping program focused on outdoor recreation, history and STEM July 7-9 at WVU Jackson’s Mill.

Yaa Gyasi’s “Transcendent Kingdom” tells the story of a Ghanaian family living in Alabama that is deeply affected by addiction and depression. Now in its seventh year, the Campus Read provides opportunities to engage the campus, particularly first-year freshmen, in a year-long discussion about the themes of a single book.

Graduating Nursing Seniors  

Hosted by the WVU School of Nursing Keyser Campus, students heard tips for success as they transition from student to graduate, then rotated through stations to discuss employment opportunities among area health facilities.
