WVU Extension Safety and Health will host a Tethered and Winch Assist Steep Slope Logging demonstration and a Chainsaw Safety and Tree Felling course to improve safety conditions in the logging and arboriculture industry.

Due to an issue with a sewer line, all Martin Hall bathrooms are closed until further notice. During this time, students and employees should utilize bathrooms in nearby buildings, such as Woodburn Hall.
Wall clocks will be unavailable from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 11) for an important system update. Employees who need to record hours during this time will still be able to use Web Clock. Alternatively, they should work with their supervisors to log time.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to join the tournament from Feb. 19-23 in the Mountainlair Games Area. Registration will close Friday, Feb. 16.
The Health Sciences and Technology grant for more than $70,000 will help fund a Summer Institute at WVU Tech where high school sophomores and teachers from across the state will work alongside faculty to explore STEM and health sciences opportunities.
