Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in P.R.O.T.E.C.T. training to learn valuable self-defense techniques from 5 to 9 p.m. March 25 in the Applied Human Sciences Building, Room 101.
This immersive training taught by University Police officers uses hands-on demonstrations to provide participants with the skills needed to recognize a threat, escape an attack and get to a safe place to call for help. Participants will learn striking techniques, takedowns and escape holds, and will gain information on developing situational awareness.
Registration is not required.
Parking is available in nearby parking lots. The PRT and Mountain Line buses are also available.
