Join the celebration for undergraduate biology achievements and research during the Department of Biology Undergraduate Awards and Research Symposium Friday (May 1) in the Life Sciences Building.
Awards and presentations are scheduled for 2:30-4:30 p.m. in Room G15 with a poster session to follow from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on the third floor.
This annual symposium is the culmination of the Biology Department capstone courses — BIOL 321 and NRSC 485L — and BIOL 323L: Viral Genomics.
During the symposium, students will present their research results as either a poster or an oral presentation. The questions and feedback they receive during these presentations are a valuable part of this experience and will help them learn to more effectively communicate their findings to others.
