The Center for Resilient Communities welcomes Daniel Renfrew and Maria Perez as they reflect on the ethical and methodological power of ethnography from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 18) in Brooks Hall, Room 309, or on Zoom.
Drawing on their deep experience in Latin America and the Caribbean, Renfrew and Perez will discuss how field notes, interviews, observation and long-term immersion can traverse public scholarship and environmental struggles while remaining accountable to communities, collaborators and the situated politics of knowledge and scientific practice.
