Faculty and staff are encouraged to take a moment to show appreciation for our University Police officers and their dedication to keeping our campus community safe in recognition of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day today (Jan. 9).
Officers work around the clock to protect students, faculty, staff, fans and visitors, and we are grateful for their service, compassion and unwavering commitment to the University.
Beyond these daily responsibilities, they dedicate time to the safety of our campus through many free services and trainings.
Be sure to share your gratitude for our police officers through a “thank you” in person or by delivering a card from the Talent and Culture Appreciation Toolkit.
To each and every member of the University Police Department, thank you for your service and for all you do to support our Mountaineer family.
