Casey to read from her acclaimed debut book Sept. 25

Rose Casey, a professor in the Department of English, will give a reading and discuss  her book “Aesthetic Impropriety: Property Law and Postcolonial Style” at 7 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 25) in E. Moore Hall.

Copies of Casey’s book will be for sale on site, and she will conduct a signing after her presentation.

“We’re honored to have Dr. Casey on our faculty, and we’re honored to host her reading from her wonderful new book,” said Mark Brazaitis, professor of English and director of the Creative Writing Program.

“She’s an award-winning teacher, a brilliant, lucid writer and a cutting-edge scholar. The event will be outstanding.”
