UNEWS, the WVU student email newsletter, will resume Aug. 18.
UNEWS will be distributed daily to accommodate Welcome Week activities from Aug. 18-22.
On Aug. 25, the Current Student Marketing Team will begin its regular bi-weekly distribution schedule of 10 a.m. each Monday and Thursday throughout the fall and spring semesters.
All announcements will be posted and catalogued on students.wvu.edu throughout the academic year.
Announcements will be categorized in one of four buckets on the website: Campus News, Academic Support, Student Experience, or Mental Health and Wellness.
Submission deadlines are as follows:
• Monday edition, submit by 5 p.m. Friday
• Thursday edition, submit by 5 p.m. Wednesday
Submission notes:
• Submissions cannot promote an event more than two weeks in advance and items cannot be posted more than twice total.
• All submissions will be reviewed for clarity and to ensure alignment with student needs.
