Clay Club Ceramics sale to offer homemade pottery

Ceramics Sale

Nearly 1,000 one-of-a-kind handmade utilitarian pottery and small ceramic sculptures created by students from the School of Art and Design will be available for purchase from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 3 in the Canady Creative Arts Center, Douglas O. Blaney Lobby.

All proceeds will support student artists.

“Funds raised will help bring in visiting artists, support club activities and support student research projects, including travel to China in June with the WVU Ceramics in China Study Abroad Program,” said Robert Moore, associate professor of ceramics and club faculty advisor. “It is an excellent opportunity to help support young student artists.”

The WVU Clay Club fosters relationships between student ceramicists and the professional workforce, providing vital educational and professional experiences.
