The Department of Communication Studies is recruiting participants for a study examining how people may be affected by social media. If you are an adult woman age 18 and older, you are eligible to participate in our study.
If you wish to participate, you must complete a brief online survey to determine your eligibility for this study.
If you qualify, you will then be asked to sign up and attend a single in-person session in Field Hall where you will complete a video recorded task and a questionnaire. This session involves a series of computer-based tasks and an online survey to measure your reactions to the tasks. Your participation will take about 45 minutes.
Your decision to be in this research is completely voluntary.
Participants will receive a $25 Amazon gift card for your participation at the completion of the study.
West Virginia University Institutional Review Board approval of this project is on file.
