Open Enrollment begins for benefits-eligible employees

Woodburn campus

The Open Enrollment period for Plan Year 2026 for University benefits-eligible faculty and staff begins today (April 2) and will run through Thursday, May 15.

Open Enrollment is your only opportunity to add, drop or make changes to many of your benefits for the 2026 plan year without a qualifying life event.

All changes for Plan Year 2026 will be effective July 1. Note that for Plan Year 2026, PEIA and The Health Plan health insurance plans will experience employee premium increases averaging 14%, and PEIA plans will also experience cost-sharing increases, including changes to deductibles, copays and out-of-pocket maximums, as approved by the PEIA Finance Board.

This is a changes-only enrollment; if you do not make any changes, your current benefits will be carried over to the new plan year. You are encouraged to review your current coverages, learn what’s new for Plan Year 2026, evaluate your benefit needs and make changes to your benefits.
