The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative and Intermediate Unit 1 invite members of the University community to visit the 2024 Innovation Showcase from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow (Oct. 10) at the Erickson Alumni Center.
Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of the 2023-24 WVPEC Teacher Innovation Mini-Grant recipients.
Teachers and students from across West Virginia and southwestern Pennsylvania will share innovative learning projects in the areas of STEAM, literacy, career and technical education, entrepreneurship, special education and family engagement.
Stop by to learn how students are using 3D printers to model flood protection methods in West Virginia, creating a documentary to learn about historical research methods, hosting a podcast to improve reading fluency and much more.
Light refreshments will be provided. While not required to attend, you are welcome to RSVP.
The 2024 Innovation Showcase is made possible by the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, the EQT Foundation and the Equitrans Midstream Foundation.
