WVU Dining Services has announced an array of new promotions at campus retail outlets for the fall semester aimed at providing savings and fun for faculty, staff and students.

ACTOGO: Beginning Aug. 31, Café Evansdale’s Adobo Cantina will offer to-go options at the Market @ UPlace. Enjoy favorites like Johnny Sanchez Queso Blanco, Roasted Tomato Salsa, Molcajete Guacamole, Roasted Salsa Verde and Adobo Cantina Tortilla Chips.

Win It Wednesday: Each Wednesday starting Sept. 4, the Market @ UPlace will give away bundles of goodies. To enter, follow @wvudining on Instagram, like the post featuring the giveaway and tag three WVU friends in the comments. Winners will be announced every Thursday.

Tailgate Specials: Throughout football season, enjoy Tailgate Specials from the Market @ UPlace every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Limited Time Offers: Specials at select retail outlets will run for 10 days at a time, giving you a chance to try new things at a special price. Help us determine what to continue to offer by providing feedback during the special promotions.

Lucky Duck: In October, the first 100 customers to spend at least $40 at the Market @ UPlace each week will receive a rubber duck. Post your duck to Instagram for a chance to win weekly prizes. Weekly winners will be announced on Mondays starting Oct. 7. Collect all four ducks for a chance to win the grand prize on Nov. 4.

Grateful Plateful: A semester-long sweepstakes offering a chance to win a $575 Visa gift card to host a campus cookout and a $1,250 donation to a food-related charity in your name. Entry information is available at Bits ‘n Bytes, Grab & Go outlets, Jazzmans, Lyon’s Den, Market @ UPlace, Park Place and WOW Café.

Pay It Forward: At Jazzmans, purchase an extra drink or pastry for someone in need of a pick-me-up. Write a note on a coffee sleeve and pin it to the Pay It Forward board for someone to redeem.

Food Bank Drive: In celebration of National Food Bank Day on Sept. 6, WVU Dining Services will host a food drive benefiting The Rack: WVU Student Food Pantry. Donation boxes will be available Sept. 2-6 at various campus locations. A Dance Party will be held featuring DJ Sly from 10 a.m. to noon on Sept. 4 at the Market @ UPlace. Bring a canned food item to donate.
