Researchers from the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center will host a meeting on intestinal malrotation from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday (March 26-27) on Zoom.
The national meeting will bring together patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and other stakeholders to learn more about patient experiences and preliminary research to better understand the natural history of this medical condition.
Katie Corcoran and Sydney Martinez will present ongoing research.

“Where is Pediatric Nursing Going? The Decline of Undergraduate Baccalaureate Clinical and Didactic Nursing Education,” Jordan Lee Slowik, University of South Florida,
“Your Experience Matters: Storytelling to Make a Difference,” Kara Boeldt, EndPreeclampsia, Inc.
“Medical Trauma in the Intestinal Malrotation Community,” Sacha McBain, University of Arkansas,
“Malrotation: More than Just Anatomy. Long-Term Gastrointestinal Motility and Functional GI Disorders,” Dr. Jason Dranove, Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.
Patients and caregivers will also present on their personal experiences with intestinal malrotation.
