The WVU Human Performance Lab is seeking participants ages 25-65 who meet certain criteria for this research study. Appointments will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 21, and Friday, March 22, in the Health Sciences Center, Room 8505.
Participants must meet the following criteria:
• Live at home and care for yourself,
• Have not been diagnosed with a neurological condition,
• Have not experienced dizziness in the last six months,
• Have not experienced lower extremity injury or surgery in the last six months.
Participants will complete three tests to assess fall risk that involve sitting, standing and minimal walking.
Participants will receive a $20 Target gift card along with individualized results from a licensed physical therapist.
