The University community is invited to attend a viewing of the ESPN investigative documentary on Lauren McCluskey titled “Listen” along with a panel discussion with campus and community experts at 3 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 25) in the Mountainlair Gluck Theater.
McCluskey was a University of Utah student-athlete who repeatedly sought help as her ex-boyfriend stalked and harassed her, but the people and the institutions responsible for listening to her and protecting her failed at every turn.
The event is hosted by the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, in collaboration with WVU Athletics, Carruth Center, Housing and Residence Life, UPD, Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, and the Monongalia County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
