The prestigious award is presented annually to a resident of West Virginia who best exemplifies the values and ideals taught by Martin Luther King Jr.
The award recognizes substantial contributions to the advancement of civil and human rights, humanitarianism, social action, and/or the advancement of diversity and inclusion.
Find more information and submit your nomination by 5 p.m. Dec. 6.
The recipient of the award will be announced during the 2024 MLK Unity Breakfast slated for 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.
