SFFA training required for graduate and professional admissions decision-makers

To ensure the University is complying with the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard, admissions decision-makers for WVU graduate programs and professional schools are required to complete an online training module.

The module will ensure these decision-makers have the most up-to-date information regarding race-conscious admissions practices.

Those who have been identified as a stakeholder will receive an email with more information and the link to complete the training. The module will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participants must fill out a form at the end of the module to finalize completion of the course.

The training must be completed by Friday, Dec. 15.

Admissions decision-makers for undergraduate programs are not required to complete the module.

If you do not receive an email with a link to the module but believe that you are a stakeholder, contact Shelly Quance, director of graduate admissions, at shelly.quance@mail.wvu.edu.
