The 20th annual West Virginia Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at the West Virginia Capitol Complex in Charleston.

The purpose of the event is to familiarize state legislators with research and creative activities involving undergraduate students that occur on campuses across the state.

WVU undergraduate students are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration before the submission deadline at 11:59 p.m. Friday (Nov. 17).

Between 80 and 100 students from institutions statewide are expected to be selected for participation in the presentation session representing a wide range of subjects, including the sciences, arts, social sciences and humanities.
