Maldonado named APS Congressional Science Fellow

Danielle Maldonado, a doctoral student in physics, will use her scientific expertise to inform federal policymaking during a yearlong fellowship on Capitol Hill as a 2026-27 American Physical Society Congressional Science Fellow

An active member of the APS, she recently joined the Committee on Minorities in Physics. Previously, she served on the executive committee of the Forum on Graduate Student Affairs and Forum on Education, and as a student ambassador.
