The University community is invited to attend this Academic Community Engagement development session from 8:45-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5.
Panel members include the following:
• Gayle Conelly Manchin, federal co-chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission
• David Campbell, public administration professor at Binghamton University
From Manchin's hands-on experience in education and regional development to Campbell's research-driven insights into nonprofit management, attendees will gain practical strategies for fostering connections, amplifying impact and discovering personal and collective purpose.
The moderator is Kristi Wood-Turner, director of the Center for Community Engagement.
