University Assembly announces special meeting Wednesday

Woodburn campus

The WVU Faculty Senate Office has received a petition to convene a meeting of the University Assembly for consideration of two resolutions: a Resolution of No Confidence in the Leadership of President E. Gordon Gee and a Resolution to Freeze the Academic Transformation Process

The University Assembly will meet at noon Wednesday (Sept. 6) in the Clay Theatre of the Canady Creative Arts Center to consider these items. The doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for faculty check-in.

A live broadcast will be available on YouTube for public viewing. Due to limited seating, guests and non-assembly members are strongly encouraged to view the meeting remotely.

To watch the public stream of the meeting, go to https://www.youtube.com/@facultysenate4803 and click on the “WVU University Assembly” YouTube Livestream. The link will be available when the meeting officially starts at noon.
