Research and Provost Offices announce Community Engagement Awards

The WVU Faculty Senate Service Committee recently awarded five grants to faculty for the fiscal year 2024.

The awardees include:

  • Erin Brock Carlson, Department of English, Eberly College, "Documenting and Responding to the Needs of Underserved Artists in West Virginia"

  • Julian Joonghyun Hwang, Davis College, "Assessment of the Recycling Program in West Virginia: A Case Study of Monongalia County"

  •  Heather Livengood, School of Medicine, "Occupational Therapy Doctoral Capstone Experiential"

  • Yoojung Yoon, Statler College, "School Bus Route Optimization for Regional School Districts"

  • Karen Diaz, WVU Libraries, "Hacking the Library Exhibition" 

Community Engagement grants are funded by the Office of the Provost, and the grant competition is administered by the Research Office.
