Brownfields Assistance Center seeks poster proposals

Brownfields Assistance Center

The Brownfields Assistance Center at WVU is seeking proposals on community revitalization and environmental remediation for its Redevelopment Poster Gallery at the 2023 WV Brownfields & Main Street Conference.

The conference is slated for Sept. 12-14 in Wheeling.

The event's inaugural Poster Gallery will highlight redevelopment projects, research and collaboration happening across central Appalachia to build the capacity, infrastructure, research and the built environment of communities.

These visual stories will help to inspire and educate practitioners, stakeholders, decision-makers and others about success in communities, trends in the industry and opportunities for transformational change throughout the region.

Attendees at the WV Brownfields and Main Street Conference include state and federal officials, community stakeholders, local leaders, nonprofit service providers and faculty partners from across West Virginia.

This year's audience is expected to include stakeholders from across central Appalachia as we partner with seven other states through the Central Appalachian Brownfields Innovation Network.
