The WVU Faculty Senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, March 6, in the College of Law Fitzsimmons Event Hall and on Zoom.
Nominations from the floor will be accepted for chair-elect, to serve as the Faculty Senate chair from 2024-25, and the faculty representative to state government, to serve from 2023-24.
A shared governance activity, led by the Faculty Senate Shared Governance Committee, will be held following the meeting. This small group activity will examine several University responsibilities to determine if they fall primarily to faculty, administration, or are a joint responsibility.
This same survey was given to deans last year and will be provided to the Office of the Provost later this spring. Results will be discussed at the Faculty Senate meeting on April 10.
