Three University faculty members will offer their perspectives on how visual depictions of conflict can help us better understand the human experience of war and trauma during a moderated conversation and facilitated Q&A session at 6 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 23) in the Museum Education Center Grand Hall.
The conversation is inspired by the current exhibition “In/Humanity: Combat and War in Art.”
The following panelists will connect their areas of expertise to themes explored in the exhibition:
• Lisa Di Bartolomeo, inaugural Art Museum of WVU Faculty Fellow
• Cody Corliss, associate professor of law
• Kristina Olson, director of the School of Art and Design and professor of art history
The moderator is Heather Harris, Art Museum of WVU curator of education
A recording will be posted to the Art Museum’s YouTube playlist in the days following the talk.
