Attend upcoming workshops on faculty evaluation, promotion and tenure for all faculty members

Faculty in mountainlair

Join the Office of the Provost for an in-person information session on annual reviews and the promotion and/or tenure process from 1-2:30 p.m. on either Sept. 28 or 29.

Open to all faculty members, this discussion will cover basic information such as the timeline and calendar for the process, understanding the role of Digital Measures in this process, as well as best practices for preparing for the promotion and/or tenure process for tenure-track and extension tenure-track faculty members. There will also be a discussion of modification of duties for certain full-time faculty and extension of the tenure clock.

Presenters are Tracy Morris, associate provost for academic personnel, and Chris Staples, executive director of academic personnel.

The Wednesday (Sept. 28) session will be held in the Shenandoah Room of the Mountainlair.

The Thursday (Sept. 29) session will be held in Room G05 of Bennett Tower.

Prior to attending the workshop, watch the Faculty Evaluation, Promotion and Tenure Information 2021 or the Faculty Evaluation and Promotion Information Session for Non-Tenure Faculty 2021, depending on your track.
