Faculty, staff, students, alumni, retirees and their families are invited to West Virginia University Day at PNC Park when the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Cincinnati Reds on Friday, Aug. 19.
First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
Two ticket options will be available for purchase.
1. A convenient, hassle-free bus and ticket option which includes a reserved game ticket, round-trip coach bus transportation from Morgantown to PNC Park, pepperoni roll snack, bottled water and an official Pittsburgh Pirates and West Virginia University co-branded water bottle. Upon arrival, guests will have access to a pregame happy hour in the Left Field Lounge. The ticket will also include two drink tickets and snacks during the happy hour. The cost is $60 per person. Register for the bus trip.
2. Individuals who would prefer to travel on their own to the ballpark can order a reserved game ticket and co-branded water bottle at pirates.com/wvu. Upon arrival, guests will have access to a pregame happy hour in the Left Field Lounge which includes two drink tickets and snacks. The cost for that option is $40.
Buses will depart from the Erickson Alumni Center on the afternoon of the game at 3:15 pm, returning approximately 30 minutes after the last out. Register for this option.
If ordering the bus and ticket option, it is requested that individuals order their tickets together if they would like to sit together at the game.
It is anticipated that the bus and ticket option will sell out.
