Recruiting child and adult participants for psychology research studies

Researchers in the Department of Psychology are creating a list of children and adults up to age 89 who may be interested in participating in psychology research studies, some of which may be on Zoom or elsewhere online, that typically involve completion of various tasks and do not require disclosure of much personal information.

If you are a parent of a child/legal guardian of a child or are an adult (with or without children) who is interested in being on the list, we will keep your name, email, age in years and will contact you when we are conducting studies with children or adults in your child's age range/in your age range. At that time, we will provide you with an Institutional Review Board-approved description of the particular study for which we are recruiting.

You will be able to opt in or out of that research study, as well as indicate whether you do or do not wish to remain on the list for future studies. Studies will typically be compensated with gift cards.

The contact is Elisa Krackow, principal investigator, elisa.krackow@mail.wvu.edu.

If you would like to place yourself on the list, please send via email your name, email address and age in years. If you are a parent wishing to place your child/children on the list, please send your name, email address and child's age(s) in years.
